A Real Strategy Session with Copilot at County Quest Consulting

At County Quest Consulting, we recently sat down for a morning strategy session with Copilot to shape the direction of our upcoming free workshop series. We began by laying out every idea that had been floating around the edges—why these workshops matter, who they’re for, what gaps they should fill, and how they connect to our broader mission. Copilot helped us sort through all of that thinking quickly, pulling the threads together so we could focus on what really matters: designing something truly beneficial for the audience we want to serve.

Once we refined our core audience, the work got even more interesting. Copilot scanned the web for case studies, examples, and best practices that directly match the needs and challenges of that group. At the same time, it combed through our own history—past projects, notes, and client patterns—to pull up moments where we had already guided organizations through similar problems. That combination of outside insights and internal experience gave us a strong toolbox of relatable stories and teaching points to build into the workshop.

Shaping the Workshop’s Purpose

With all those insights in front of us, we spent time clarifying what the workshop needs to accomplish before ever building an agenda. Copilot helped us think through questions that matter: What transformation should attendees walk away with? What tone should the workshop set? What kind of “aha” moment would serve this audience best? Those conversations shaped the feel and purpose of the workshop—not the schedule, but the impact.

We also dove into a fast back-and-forth with Copilot to explore different angles, reframe ideas, and test variations of the overall flow. That kind of rapid collaboration made the strategy work move quickly and kept the momentum strong. By the time the morning wrapped up, we had clear direction and a thorough understanding of the experience we want to create. The one thing we didn’t do was build the agenda—that part is coming soon—but the foundation is now solid enough that developing the steps will be far easier.

What’s Coming Next

In next week’s post, we’ll share how we’re managing the growing volume of ideas coming out of these strategy sessions. With so much good thinking happening, it would be easy for details to scatter across chats, files, and notes. To prevent that, we’re building a quarterly strategy document and using Copilot to flesh out each of our goals inside it. It’s becoming our way to stay aligned, reduce information sprawl, and keep our strategic plans actionable rather than theoretical. If your organization has ever struggled to keep good ideas organized, that’s a post won’t want to miss reading.
