1. Do I need a scanner?
No. A scanner is great to have, but you can scan hundreds of photos to CD/DVD for under $10 at many stores.

2. I don't type well. Is there another way?
There are excellent Voice-to-Text programs available for your smartphone and computer. This does require some additional editing however, so the editing process will be slower than if you type well.

3. How can I possibly get a book done in 120 days?
While a book may seem like an overwhelming project, it is not if you methodically type 1-3 memories per day. Grab a cup of coffee, choose 1-3 pictures, then type the associated memories. There. 1-3 chapters completed. Repeat daily...

4. What equipment do I need?
Internet access and a computer with Microsoft Word and a (free) graphics program installed, as well as a $10 flash drive for backing up your work in the event of a computer failure. If you already have the computer, you’ll only need to buy the $10 flash drive and spend about $6/month for Microsoft Word. That’s it!
